Activities Coordinator Job Description
This is 3-4 month internship which would meet the guidlines of your couse of study.
Summary: To facilitate, supervise and provide accountability for all organized activities as follows: Guided outdoor and classroom programs,field trip programs,holiday event schedules, seasonal guest programs, and private group recreation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supervise and implement Nature themed programs which are safe and fun for all participants.

Facilitate assigned day-to day park activities.

Lead and facilitate field trip groups programming.

Assist with the implementation and supervision of activities for guests throughout all major holidays.

Animal husbandry:Daily/Weekly animal care and maintenance of animal tanks including feeding, cleaning, monitoring tank temp/humidity and water quality.(Animals on exhibit:
snake, eastern collard lizard(s), ornate box turtle, three-toed amphiuma, spotted salamanders, and a variety of freshwater fish)

Enhance guests experience through activities and programs.

Will perform other duties as required.
Desired Experience

Preferred experience in education (formal or informal) with children (ages K-12).

Preferred background in Environmental Science/Biology.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities
The ability to work well with a team and communicate respectfully with co-workers, to prioritize a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
Other Qualifications
Must have a safe driving record and the ability to obtain a Missouri class E or Arkansas "P" designated driver's license.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions of all four seasons. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There is the potential that the employee will come into contact with venomous animals and poisonous plants and must be capable of handling those encounters and ensure the safety of guests in the area.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
