Position Summary:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on gas, diesel, and battery powered vehicles and equipment to provide for the safety and satisfaction of guests and associates.
An eligible candidate must:

Possess a mechanics degree or have a minimum of 5 years? experience

Be safety-conscious in all aspects of performing job duties

Maintain clear and conscious communication

Work without direct supervision at times and use good judgement in decision making

Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisor

Be willing to work outside in extreme weather as needed

Perform basic metal work (welding, torch, plasma cutter, etc.)

Possess the ability to adapt to new situations and challenges
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform planned/preventative maintenance on equipment including property vehicles, trailers, tractors, mowers, weed eaters, water pumps, etc.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs for equipment and fuel.
Manage inventory of shop supplies including tools, parts, materials, etc.
Keep shop area clean and organized
Wash interior/exterior of vehicles and equipment
Maintain tools (sharpen saw chains, sharpen mower blades, replace handles, etc.)
Wash vehicles and equipment
Assist other areas as needed

Skills and Knowledge

Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time, work safely, communicate effectively, understand and carry out written and oral directions, and establish good working relationships with co-workers

Able to work in outside weather conditions

Lift, reach, bend, twist, push, pull, squat, grasp and use arm-hand coordination on a consistent basis

Have the ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.

Be able to work weekends and holidays, mornings and evenings as business demands.
- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Basic Computer Skills- Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).

Reading Comprehension- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

Oral Comprehension- The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

Analytical/Critical Thinking- The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications, problems and draw appropriate conclusions; generate alternative solutions to problems; evaluate strengths, weaknesses and consequences of alternative solutions and approaches to solving problems.

Guest and Personal Service- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest and personal services. This includes guest?s needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of guest satisfaction.

Number Facility- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
